We spent a long time in late autumn and early winter researching the various seed producers and then discussing seed choices to come to this list. Our first criteria was organic - we want the best seeds to produce the best food which will help us save the best seeds for next year to grow on again. We felt Tamar Organics with a great reputation and a wide variety of seeds to choose were a great starting point. Choosing which food types came down to things we had personally experienced growing before. We thought about taste, colours and form and we enthusiastically shared stories of our growing experiences and remembered delight as we sat eating food we had grown. We imagined sharing that delight with others - and that's how the project grew!
